Notice to All Applicants:

Camp staff members work closely with children during the summer.  As part of the staff recruitment process we must make certain that the individuals we employ are acceptable role models.  We thoroughly check the applicant's references, perform criminal background checks and also perform motor vehicle record checks.  We also check the internet presence of potential employees (i.e., Facebook, etc.) and conduct an interview with each applicant.  In addition to the above, applicants who accept a position with our camp also agree to submit to random drug testing if requested during the summer.

If you are hired to work at Camp Lohikan you will be responsible for someone's most precious possession... their child!  You will have an opportunity to impact in a significantly positive way the growth and development of your campers.  You may be considered by some to be uncool in school but you'll be idolized by your campers in camp.  You'll be treated like a big brother or sister and considered an expert in all things.  We need to be very careful who we entrust with this awesome responsibility.  Are you up for it?  Are you prepared to put the needs of your campers ahead of your own?  Can you be a positive role model, 24 hours a day, 6-7 days per week for 9 weeks?  If the answer is yes, let us know.

Camp Lohikan is an equal opportunity employer.
